Happiness isn't coming soon.

This is technically a sequel to Always dark under the overpass and if you haven't read that, you should read it first for some things to make sense.

I drew the layouts for this for the Shorts anthology, and it sat in my archive as small sketches and scribbles for years until I found it and thought that it held up well enough. I completed inking it in 2021, but coloring it was complicated, so I procrastinated until April 2022. Before I knew it, it was August 2022 and I still hadn't uploaded it. That said, the production of this short comic has been way longer than it should have been.

I don't have much to say about this one. I started out trying to depict psychological despair in the most comforting way I could think of. But I enjoy rereading it, so I guess that's all that matters.
